Skin Check & Procedure Costings

(All Skin presentation , and any procedures are privately billed to all patients)

Full Body Skin Cancer Check (long consultation) 15-30 min

Skin check from head to toe. The doctor will check every suspicious spot with a Dermatoscope (specialised device that assists with thorough skin examination) and advise you on any necessary action regarding those.   Cost to you (Gap) $70.3 = You pay the fees of  $150 – Medicare rebate $79.7

Partial Skin Check < 15 min

Check 1-4 spots of concern. Cost to you  (Gap) $ 63.8=  You pay the fees of $105 – Medicare rebate $41.20

Minor Biopsy

Usually includes simple  punch and shave biopsy.

The Gap (cost to you) $ 36.35  =$85  Fee – (Medicare rebate $48.65 ),  Including all follow up and aftercare.

Skin Cancer or other skin lesion full excision

Performed under local anaesthetic and requires stitches. Size , location , type of the lesion and complexity vary significantly. Therefore, the price range may vary accordingly.

  The Gap (cost to you) is $ 90- $ 200 .  Including all follow up and aftercare.
